This Balinese inspired home offers the owners a relaxed resort-style lifestyle overlooking their carp-filled lagoon. Every main room, including the spacious outdoor living pavilion, has an inspiring view.
Large open plan rooms feature in this split-level plan with high ceilings and an abundance of glass and louvers. Glass shelving and cleverly situated niches opening onto fixed windows have been used to create stunning display cabinets in the main living area. During the day these displays are lit by the natural light from the windows and at night by well placed downlights. Downlights are used throughout the house.
The kitchen has extensive built in cupboards in 2 pack finish with a large island bench incorporating a granite bench top and yet more storage in the glass fronted cupboards facing out into the tiled pavilion area. All kitchen appliances are stainless steel to combine functionality and elegance. Extra light is provided by the two skylights situated above the bench.
The bathroom, which also overlooks the lagoon, features a semi-recessed vanity with a granite top and a magnificent timber framed mirror stretching the full length of the vanity and reaching to the ceiling.
The 250mm square oiled hardwood verandah posts, deep verandahs and bagged brickwork complete the clients vision of a relaxed family home with an emphasis on complementing the beauty of the surrounding countryside.
